Challenge:-
This project is for the Traffic Management Center, which the Traffic Management System works on a 24/7 basis. This process helps to ensure early detection and accurate verification of incidents and traffic congestion, and to formulate the appropriate response to minimize delay to the pilots. In order to improve the efficiency of operations, our company was tasked with installing video wall system, video conference system. This project contains the largest video wall .The project is comprised of (5×3) 46″ diagonal LCD, and also 4 groups of video wall (2×2) 46″ diagonal LCD frameless assembled with NEC’s exclusive Frameless LCD technology, which allows 7.2mm distance between 2 LCD. The challenge was to create a control room which allowed viewing of the airport traffics as a part of centralized control by the control team.
Solution:-
The traffics can be viewed from the main display wall, or on one of the (15) 42″ plasma screens located throughout the room All components of the audio and video are controlled by a custom-programmed Crestron wireless touch panel, Extron matrix distribution system and Tandberg video conference system, from the main control room area. Complete system integration allows all audio video applications to be controlled form the control area.
